you find my feelings deep in a book but on thin pages. you find my love under the dense rind but it's always easiest to peel when it's so thick. my thoughts lay under your covers but are as easily removable as sunday morning's rise for church; mom's annoucement there is french toast ready. i always loved that french toast way more than praying.
